No, 2nd Saturday is a501(c)(3) non-profit organization that expects no payment for any services or materials provided. Donations are always welcome  but are not requested or required from the people being served.

The 2nd Saturday volunteers will do  tasks, repairs, or maintenance required and within our abilities to keep the home of those we are serving "Warm, Safe, Dry, and Healthy".

You can join our Volunteer email list to receive emails with opportunities to join us for a future 2nd Saturday work "Go" event. Donations are always welcome! We always need people who can do both skilled and unskilled work. We need people to run the grill,  take photographs, go door to door asking neighbors to join us for food and fellowship (and to pray for them). 

Volunteers are believers who want to demonstrate the fruits of the Spirit through service (James 2:18) . We also welcome those who want to learn more about Jesus and relational discipleship. You can join our Volunteer email list for opportunities sign up for 2nd Saturday work "Go" events.

Children under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult whose care they are in.

Second Saturday focuses on Jerusalem and Judea (the zip codes  closest around where we live and go to church – Richland and Lexington counties in South Carolina  We’ve had excursions to areas considered Samaria (Bamberg, Aiken in South Carolina).
