At Second Saturday USA, we believe serving others is one of the most meaningful ways to share the love of Jesus Christ.
Through essential home repairs, Hurricane Helene roofing recovery, and our developing skilled trades scholarship initiative, we are committed to restoring hope, strengthening families, and creating opportunities for a brighter future.
With the help of dedicated volunteers, churches, businesses, and community partners, we put our faith into action—meeting practical needs, building relationships, and reminding those we serve that they are not forgotten

At the heart of Second Saturday USA is a commitment to serving widows, single parents, older adults, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and families facing difficult circumstances.
Through our monthly GO Events and ongoing service projects, volunteers come together to complete essential home repairs and improvements that homeowners may otherwise be unable to afford or accomplish on their own.
From roofing and accessibility improvements to siding, steps, and other safety-related repairs, our goal is to create safer, more secure homes for those we serve.
But our work goes beyond hammers and nails. Every project is an opportunity to build relationships, encourage homeowners, and demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ through meaningful service.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, many South Carolina families were left facing significant damage to their homes, including roofs that could no longer provide the protection and security they needed.
Second Saturday USA has responded by helping homeowners through essential roof repairs and replacements, working alongside dedicated volunteers, skilled professionals, and community partners to restore homes and bring hope to families in need.
While the storm has passed, the need for recovery continues. Many homeowners are still facing costly repairs they cannot afford on their own.
Our commitment remains strong. Through continued partnerships, fundraising, and community support, we hope to replace even more damaged roofs and help additional families return to homes that are warm, safe, and dry.
One Roof. One Family. One Step Toward Recovery.

At Second Saturday USA, we believe that investing in people is just as important as investing in homes. Through our developing Skilled Trades Scholarship Initiative, we are expanding our mission to help individuals pursue meaningful careers and build brighter futures.
This initiative is designed to help youth, young adults, and individuals seeking new career opportunities overcome financial barriers to skilled trades education, training, and industry-recognized certifications.
With a focus on essential trades such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and construction, our goal is to help participants gain valuable skills, pursue stable employment, and create opportunities for long-term financial independence.
Through mentorship, discipleship, and hands-on service opportunities, we also hope to connect the next generation of skilled workers with experienced professionals who share our commitment to serving others.
As we develop this initiative and seek funding partners, our vision remains simple: equip individuals with skills that can change their lives while preparing them to make a difference in the lives of others.
